Onion skin eco print 5 inch

Onion skins, marigolds, and tickseed were rolled in silk dupion then steamed and let to sit for several days. The russet reds come from the onion skins and the yellows and oranges from the tickseed and marigold. All plant material was gathered locally ranging from gardens to beaches and fields in Charleston, SC.

Hanging these pieces are very fun to play around with. I love mixing color, size, and space to create a beautiful composition on the wall.
